Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death worldwide. As our population ages, the incidence of these diseases will increase, as will the likelihood of needing to manage a cardiovascular event in both your diving and non-diving activities. This course will help to prepare students to handle these events as well as other life-threatening incidents.
This course will instruct team care CPR and first aid skills including one-and-two-person CPR for adults, children and infants as well as pulse checks. Learn to identify the signs and symptoms associated with cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack and respiratory arrest, and how to implement proper methods of shock and wound management. This course meets the current guidelines issued by the International Liaison Council on Resuscitation, the American Heart Association and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Are you a certified diver who hasn’t been able to get in the water enough —too much work, not enough play?
Join us on the first Saturday of each month (excludes December and January) for $10 Bubbles and a Beer. For $10, any certified diver can join us in the pool. Tank is included. Don’t have your own gear yet? For another $10 you will get an entire scuba kit to use.
Cylinder and weights are included with first $10.
Right after the event, we will head to one of the local watering holes/restaurants to grab a beer, some food & hang out. The restaurant will be a family-friendly establishment, welcoming those who can drink beer, as well as those who can only drink root beer. For those who want to drink beer, proper ID and legal age are required.
Come as often as you like; we would love to see you. Blowing bubbles is always a great time, even if it’s just in the pool. Please call to sign up so we know how many are coming.
Event costs include scuba-related activities, only.
Private dates are available for all courses — by appointment.
