DSAT Blender

Curious about how we get a specific mix in your tank? Our 8 hour blender course will teach you the techniques and secrets of mixing Nitrox blends.

Course Goals

•  Blend enriched air and/or helium blends within one percent of the target  mix as measured by oxygen content, following accepted safety  protocols and standards
•  List the advantages and disadvantages of different blending  methodologies
•  Explain the potential hazards related to handling oxygen, and how to  manage those hazards
•  Explain and/or demonstrate the steps for oxygen cleaning equipment  such as cylinders, regulators, and blending  systems

Student Prerequisites:

•  Be at least 18 years old
•  Be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver or hold a qualifying enriched  air certification
